First edition of the French translation, by Bénédict-Henry Révoil who enlarged the text, of this work originally published in 2 volumes in 1872 and 1874 in New York. An account by a Massachusetts lawyer, based in part on his personal experience as a district judge in New Mexico, Arizona.
