Interesting manuscript on the Order of Saint John. 120/180
This is a copy of a Latin manuscript dated June 24, 1735, with the French translation, in which the origins of the Order, its aims, its functioning and its ranks are explained, so that it can be produced before all those who would accuse the Order of being contrary to the Christian Church and of having as its sole aim the re-establishment of the Order of the Knights Templar.
This manuscript is accompanied by a handwritten letter signed Doussin... in which the latter indicates how the manuscript was entrusted to him.
