JAPAN - EDO period (1603 - 1868), 18th century Four-frame black lacquer and nashiji inro decorated in gold and silver lacquer hira maki-e with fan and inkstone under chrysanthemums near a stream. The chrysanthemums are reflected on the other side in togidashi water. Inscription of an owner's name inside. Signed Shiomi Masanari in a stamp. (Minor dents).
