COLONIES GENERALES: Superb set of cancellations on General Colonies stamps, including numerous date stamps, several of which are particularly rare. Included are unusual cancellations from Mayotte, Nossi-Bé (with a letter addressed to Sweden), Cochinchine, India (Pondicherry), Indochina, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Reunion and Obock. The set includes many rare genuine cancellations, a few cancellations of convenience and some forgeries, all of which were acquired from Miro. A lot of great interest for specialists of the French colonies.
