The edition was published in 1920 by La Sirène and reproduced for sale with a title and cover reprinted with the date 1926 by Jonquières. Translation by Louis Fabulet and R. d'Humières of various plays by Rudyard Kipling, including "L'Homme qui voulait être roi", "La Porte des cent mille peines", "Shiva et la sauterelle" and "La Chanson de route des Bandar-log". 23 color compositions by Kees Van Dongen, 18 of them full-page. Limited edition of 300 copies, this one of 250 on Rives vellum (no. 111). A fine copy in a mosaic binding, the design of which features an illustration by Van Dongen.
