A superb work with a particularly meticulous layout. The engravings are all mid-page in the upper section, and the text is framed by multiple havana fillets forming innumerable squares or rectangles, giving perfect balance to each page. Edition of 172 copies, this one of 155 on Madagascar (no. 112). A fine copy, despite a few scattered brown spots.
