The work contains 20 poems in French, each illustrated with 2 etchings, one illustrating the poem, the other reproducing it in calligraphy with drawings and ornaments on the sides. The 41st etching is the title in calligraphy by Picasso. Limited edition of 275 copies, this one of 235 on Papeterie du Marais, with the Gongora watermark designed by the artist (no. 88).
