In-4, stamped brown basane with checkerboard pattern, wide horizontal band of green mosaic morocco at center of boards, large central oval formed of multiple curved gilt fillets crisscrossing and creating a checkerboard of small mosaic green morocco lozenges, decoration passing over smooth spine with title in full, gilt head, cover and spine (René Kieffer).
