Covered oval earthenware tureen with polychrome decoration of Masonic symbols framing a coat of arms in a rocaille shield: a ruler, a compass, a level, a perpendicular, a chisel, an axe, a hammer, a square, the rims decorated with orange rocaille scrolls, the handle in the shape of fruit and foliage. 18th century. L.: 29 cm. A pot à oille from the same service is preserved in the Musée de Vienne and reproduced in the exhibition catalog, Faïences du XVIIIe siècle à décor maçonnique, Musée de Montluçon, 1990, no. 42, then attributed to Moustiers.
