MOULINS Deceptive earthenware pitcher, the spout and handle adorned with a satyr mask in relief, the fixed lid with openwork rosette, the neck also pierced with rosettes, with polychrome decoration of a grotesque figure playing the violin, a love riding a fantastic goat in pursuit of a wild boar, a fantastic bird and a butterfly framed by flowering shrubs. On the reverse, the inscription 21 A and the date 1742. 18th century, 1742. H. 19 cm. Reglued weir. Provenance : Christophe Perlès.
