SÈVRES A hard porcelain navette pickle decorated in brown on a nankin ground with a rosette and garlands of ivy leaves, gold fillets around the edges. No painted mark. Restoration period. L.: 26.5 cm. This shuttle is part of a service, entered in the sales store on February 23, 1821, described as a nankin background service, ivy in brown and delivered to Baron Schickler on October 14, 1822. Part of this service was sold by Sotheby's, Paris, September 28, 2016, lot 488.
