SÈVRES A two-part horn-shaped porcelain vase called a 2nd size ordinary jasmine vase, decorated in gold on a white ground with palmettes, fleurons, rosette, garland of foliage and arrows. Marked: M. Imple de Sèvres. Empire period, year 14, 1805-1806. H. 23 cm. Provenance: Given by the Emperor on November 30, 1881 to Mr de Cramayel, introducer of ambassadors on the occasion of the marriage of Princess Stéphanie de Beauharnais in February 1807. This vase was part of a gift from the Emperor to Mr. de Cramayel, comprising a luncheon set with a green chrome base and rich gold frieze and a pair of 2nd size jasmine vases (Arch. MNS, Vy18, f° 3v).
