Rectangular soft-paste porcelain plate with polychrome decoration on a green ground in the center of two lovers seated in a landscape, one playing the timpani, the other the horn and drum, within a rectangular indented cartouche, a fleur-de-lis at each corner.
On the reverse, in blue on the cookie, the inscription: le deSout le haut and the mark: LL entrelacés, letter-date M for 1765, mark of the painter Charles Nicolas Dodin.
