CHINA Large covered oval porcelain terrine with contoured rim, the side handles in the form of grotesque masks, the lid handle in the form of a crown, decorated in blue underglaze with Chinese lacustrine landscapes with pagodas, the rims decorated with braids and lambrequins. 18th century, Qianlong period (1735-1796). L.: 43 cm. A restored crack on the lid, restored chips on the side grips and base. This lot is the object of a temporary import. The buyer must pay import duties of 5.5% (6.6% incl. VAT) of the hammer price, in addition to the usual fees. These additional costs may be refunded to the buyer on presentation of customs documents for export outside the European Union.
