CHINA Covered porcelain coffee pot with grisaille and flesh-colored decoration of Vertumne as an old woman trying to seduce Pomona under the gaze of Love. 18th century, Qianlong period (1735-1796). H. 13 cm. Restored chips on the socket. Provenance : Pinto Coelho Collection, Lisboa, Portugal. Bibliography: La Porcelaine des Compagnies des Indes a Décor Occidental, F. & N. Hervouët and Y. Brunneau n°13.67, page 309 for a saucer preserved in the British Museum with the same scene. This lot is a temporary import. The buyer will have to pay an import fee of 5.5% (6.6% incl.
