CHINA Porcelain covered tea caddy with grisaille and flesh-colored decoration of Cimon and Iphigenie after Rubens and a crest, the lid in the form of a lying dog with a gold background. 18th century, Qianlong period (1735-1796). H. 13.5 cm. Restored chips. Bibliography : Chinese Armorial Porcelain, D.S. Howard, vol. II, p. 216. This lot is subject to temporary importation.
