Colophon: stampato in Vinegia, per Bartholomeo Zanetti. In-4, black calf, boards adorned with a cold-stamped decoration with a central Occasion emblem (a woman with long hair in the wind and holding a sail), gilt title on first board; spine and corners rebound, owner's statement cold-stamped on first board, scratched (period binding). First edition with commentary by the humanist Antonio Brucioli. Rare Venice printing, illustrated with 2 woodcuts, including a portrait of Boccaccio on the title. - DU BELLAY (Joachim). Les OEuvres françoises. À Paris, de l'imprimerie de Federic Morel, 1574. Small in-8, ornate half-basane; spine rubbed, some spotting (first third of 19th century binding). Third collective edition, the second in continuous pagination, reprinting the text of the first published in 1568-1569.
