Empire-style mahogany and maple veneer desk opening with three drawers, the top one revealing a writing tablet. It stands on four legs, two of which are gilded bronze lion's paws, surmounted by gilded bronze columns at the corners. The central drawer is decorated with a representation of Justice. First half of the 19th century H: 89 cm; W: 107 cm; D: 54 cm. One leg weakened, later wear, accidents and restorations.
