LES ISLETTES (Manufacture du Bois d'Épense) Earthenware plate with contoured rim, polychrome decoration with three crowned orders: sword, crook and spade, below in a phylactery the inscription "vive la nation" (long live the nation). Foliage on the wing and red fillet on the border. Late 18th century, revolutionary period. D. 22.5 cm Wear to the enamel.
