LES ISLETTES (Manufacture du Bois d'Épense) Earthenware rimmed plate with polychrome decoration of a lion standing on its hind legs on the altar of the fatherland, surmounted by a tricolor ribbon. Foliage on the wing and red fillet on the border. Late 18th century, revolutionary period. D. 22.5 cm Slight chips.
