Earthenware plate with contoured rim decorated with a patriotic polychrome medallion bearing the inscription "W la montagne", crossed by four tricolor flags on pikes and two cannons. A Phrygian cap on a pike surmounts the medallion.
The W in Nevers stands for "Vive".
Vive la montagne is the Sans-Culottes' motto.
