Earthenware plate with contoured rim featuring polychrome decoration of the three orders: sword, cross and rake, as well as hoe and sheaf of wheat for the Tiers-Etat.
Traditionally, the sword is accompanied by the crosier and the spade, but sometimes earthenware makers offer variations on the attributes of the three orders.
