Earthenware plate with contoured rim and polychrome "aux droits de l'homme" patriotic décor: in an oval medallion, two hands united on a sword, a Phrygian cap at the top and an open book inscribed "Droits de l'homm" on the guard. Around the medallion, two palms held in place by a blue ribbon bow.
The joined hands are a Masonic-inspired motif.
Late 18th century, revolutionary period.
