Often mistaken for a Bastille decor, it is more likely to evoke the defense of a besieged homeland. Late 18th century, revolutionary period. D. 23 cm Chips and chips. Bibliography BONNET, Collection Louis HEITSCHEL, p. 176, no. 347. MOINET, BILLON-TOURET, Céramiques Révolutionnaires, p. 181, no. 374: similar model.
