Embroidered suit jacket, circa 1770, cream gros de Tours embroidered in grisaille on the flat pastel with a sowing of flowers and garlands of roses and field flowers around the edges. Matching embroidered buttons, twill sleeves buttoned at the cuffs, (a discreet stain on the front, small holes on the twill lining and under the arms).
