JAPAN, Satsuma kilns - MEIJI period (1868 - 1912) Four-legged polychrome and gold-glazed earthenware perfume burner decorated with women and children at play, movable subjects, warriors and kabuto and weapons in reserves, the lower part decorated with peonies, chrysanthemums, lilies, hibiscus, iris and asagao, the openwork lid in the shape of a kiku. On the reverse, the Ryozan tsukuru kore mark. Dim. 13.6 x 13.6 cm
