JAPAN - EDO period (1603 - 1868), 19th century Inro with six cases in kinji lacquer decorated in taka and hira maki-e in gold and kirigane lacquer with a temple at the foot of a waterfall on one side and sailboats sailing on the sea on the other. Interior in gold gyobu nashiji. Signed Hasegawa Kyorinsai and stamped Shigeyoshi. (Crack on one side of a square). H. 8 cm Ivory netsuke, seated figure. H. 4.2 cm Weight : 18 grammes Provenance : Maurice Garçon Collection, n°190 (label). Intra-Community certificate issued by the French authorities.
