Numerous illustrations after Auguste Leroux, including 11 hors-texte and 10 headpieces etched by E. Decisy, the woodcut frontispiece in color by Georges Beltrand and 52 woodcut illustrations in the text by Gusman.
Edition of 600 copies, this one of 398 on Arches vellum (no. 423), here enriched with an etching in three states, a suite on Japon of the illustrations in the text and a woodcut not used for the illustration.
