In-4, old rose box, large white box mosaic lily on covers with multiple vertical gilt fillets on both sides, ornate smooth spine, lining and endpapers in flesh-colored box with semé of small palladium circles and gilt dashes, gilt edges on witnesses, cover and spine, half-box folder with covers and slipcase (G. Cretté). Monod, I-3408 /// (1f.)-VIII-110-(1f.). Two-column bilingual text with translation by Henry Cochin. Illustrations in the text by Maurice Denis, woodcut in color by Jacques, Camille and Georges Beltrand, including the frontispiece, one full-page and 30 in the text, and 94 ornaments (vignettes, banderols, lettrines). Edition of 130 copies, all on Rives laid paper, this one printed for Madame Bartet (no. 20). A very fine copy.
