MERCIÉ" on the terrace near the left foot Bears the founder's mark "F. BARBEDIENNE. Fondeur" on the circumference of the bass under Goliath's head Bears the stamp "REDUCTION MECANIQUE A. COLLAS". Bears the incised numbers "668" and in ink "37 762" on the underside. H. 46.8 cm Deformed sword blade The original Barbedienne invoice dated February 26, 1898 is enclosed.
