This cup most probably comes from the Cabaret described with hydrangea background, ivy decoration and attributes, delivered to the Palais des Tuileries on December 28, 1812, as a gift from Empress Marie-Louise to the Countess de Ségur for the Étrennes of 1813. The cabaret included 12 cups, a teapot, a milk jug and two sugar bowls. See Napoléon Ier et Sèvres, L'art de la porcelaine au service de l'Empire, collective work edited by Camille Le Prince, Paris, 2016, p. 326 and Arch. Sèvres, Vbb4, f° 13.
