MEISSEN Group of two figures in porcelain representing Scaramouche and Colombine holding a cage, a pug at their feet cage, a pug at their feet, polychrome and gold decoration. Marked : crossed swords in blue. Model created by Johann Joachim Kaendler in 1740-1741. 18th century, circa 1740. H. 17 cm. Restoration to the left hand of Colombine and the right hand of Scaramouche and chips to the tree. 5 000/8 000 € This group has for source the painting on canvas of Nicolas Lancret The Cage kept in the museum of Louvre.
