Moustiers - Lot 32
Moustiers Plate with contoured edge in earthenware with polychrome decoration in the center of the coat of arms of the Blanc de Prunier family in a shield supported by two hounds drawn up under a crown of marquis, foliage on the wing. Marked in ochre: OL R. for Jean François Richieud. Manufacture of Olérys. 18th century. D. 25 cm. The coat of arms given for a long time to the Blainville family is today identified as those of the Blanc de Prunier family, probably those of Jean-Philippe Blanc de Prunier, musketeer of the King's guard, see Francis Hernandez and Alain de Corsac, Les armoiries identifiées sur les faïences de Moustiers, 2019, p. 45
