SEVRES Two porcelain plates with polychrome decoration in the center of flowers and on the wing of frieze of palmettes in gold on agate bottom, net and frieze of ivy in gold on the fall. On the back the inscriptions : - Caprifoliaceae - Roman goat-leaf - Theaceae { White Camellia / variegated Camillia Marked : CC interlaced, fleur-de-lis, Sevres, 26. 19th century, Charles X period, 1826. D. 23,8 cm. A small jump of enamel on a plate. Provenance: These plates come from a service whose decoration is described agate background, bouquets of flowers, rich gold frieze, delivered to Victor Louis Charles de Riquet, Duke of Caraman, French ambassador of Vienna on May 11, 1827 (Archives Sèvres Cité de la céramique Vbb7, f° 27).
