SÈVRES A soft porcelain ice-cup with polychrome decoration of roses and barbs and blue fillets surrounded by garlands of laurel leaves in gold. Marked: LL interlaced, letter-date HH for 1785, mark of the painter Taillandier. 18th century, year 1786. H.: 6,4 cm. This ice-cup comes from the service whose decoration is named filet bleu, Roses Barbeaux and foliage in gold delivered to the bankers Tournon and Ravel on 12 October 1785 (David Peters, Sèvres plates and services of the 18th century, 2015, vol. III, no. 85-5, pp. 769-770). An ice cup from this service is in the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg and reproduced by Nina Birioukova, La porcelaine de Sèvres au XVIIIe siècle, catalogue of the Hermitage Museum collections, pp.231-232, no. 1061
