STRASBOURG Covered oval earthenware tureen and its oval tray with contoured edge, the handles in the shape of eagles' heads on a black background, the lid in the shape of a rose, with polychrome decoration of flowers and butterflies, painted in purple, yellow and brown on the edges. The tray marked: PH. Manufacture of Paul Hannong. 18th century, circa 1754-1762. L. of the tray : 38,9 cm. L. of the bowl : 37,5 cm. Restorations to the petals of the lid and restored chips on the edge of the lid, one side of the terrine restored.
