MARSEILLE Large covered oval terrine and its oval tray with contoured edge, resting on four console feet, the cover in the form of flowers, the cover with polychrome decoration of shepherds in landscapes, the body decorated with attributes of music, doves, quivers, crowns, and on the tray of a couple in a park near a fountain. Gold serrated line on the edges. Manufacture of Bonnefoy. 18th century. L. 39 cm. Small chips on the lid. Former Gaudry collection, Sale Lyon, February 4-5 1930, lot 100. Former Visseaux collection.
